Add Dutch Firm Epyon To The EnergyTechStocks List Of Companies That Could Change the World
Submitted by EnergyTechStocks.com
Last fall EnergyTechStocks.com profiled 12 small private companies unknown to most investors that it believes have the power to change the world through their innovative technologies for producing and saving energy and cleaning up the environment. (A list of all 12 is at the end of this article.)
It’s time to add a 13th name to the list – Dutch company Epyon.

Epyon is developing a technology that could wind up under the hoods of millions of cars and trucks. The company says its “supercharging” technology will enable battery electric and hybrid electric vehicles to be recharged in minutes instead of hours. With some electric vehicle experts afraid that recharging time could be electric vehicles’ Achilles heel, Epyon’s minutes-only “supercharger” could gain instant acceptance when plug-in and all-electric vehicles start hitting the road in two to three years.
To be sure, Epyon’s technology is as yet unproven, and there likely will be cost issues. But if its supercharger really can fill up an electric vehicle’s lithium-ion battery in only 10 or so minutes instead of 10 or so hours, it just might change the world.
According to the company’s web site, “Epyon wants to become a leader in providing ultra fast charging solutions for electric vehicles used in critical business processes to enable clean and reliable electric transportation in a 24-7 economy.”
