To purchase this work, see page at my website at “Call of the Canyon, 1922″

The setting was the West Fork of Oak Creek, Arizona. This original oil painting by Connie Tom gets it’s title from Zane Grey’s film, “Call of the Canyon” filmed in 1922in which the setting was the West Fork of Oak Creek. This painting is painted on gallery wrapped canvas. The West Fork of Oak Creek has been a popular site for the old western Hollywood films. Not only Zane Grey’s “Call of the Canyon” was filmed here, but after late 1950’s, two movies a year were being filmed in the Oak Creek and Red Rock Country. ~ Enjoy!
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand.” ~ Psalm 37:23-24.
