   First, you’d have to find Moitessier and persuade him it would be worth attending.

   It would be a shame to invite Jack Aubrey without also inviting Stephen Maturin, even if he did spend the evening studying the penguins.

   Good choice, though. I’d happily spend the evening in that company.
