Official proceedings in the Madonna-Guy Ritchie divorce will begin Friday in in London, The Associated Press reports.
Guy Ritchie doesn’t want a penny of Madonna’s $300-million dollar fortune. Guy Richie is worth a solid $30-million on his own but under British law, because they didn’t have a prenup, he could have petitioned for half of her earnings.
The Standard says Madonna will walk away from the eight-year marriage with all her fortune, estimated at $300 million. But they’ve agreed on custody arrangements: the two boys - Rocco, eight, and three-year-old adopted David - will divide their time between Britain and the U.S., while Madonna’s daughter Lourdes will continue to live with her.
