A brilliantly crafted shoot-em-up with two different modes and areas, both above and below ground. Above is where it’s more interesting, since it’s vaguely reminiscient of Zaxxon, though hardly isometric in the same way that Sega’s classic shooter is. You control a fighter airship that can get aid from a bunch of attachments that, when completed, will form a large robot. When you’re struck by enemies, you’ll lose the parts one by one until only your regular ship is left, and then, if that too is lost, you’ll lose a turn. There are some posts above ground that, in order to blast them away, you need a special weapon attachment or a robot buildup. There are stalactites below ground that might serve as a way to eliminate some enemies if you time your shooting of them correctly. Later on, as can be seen here, you go across sea area as well. A most wonderfully planned actioner.
