Cancer Linked to Alcohol in Women
Submitted by the stupid cancer blog
Recently realizing that my ibuprofen abuse didn’t reap me the benefit of escaping breast cancer I found yet another way I missed out. I have never been a drinker. I have never been drunk. I know its hard to believe. There have been only 2 times in my life that I may have been buzzed. So when I recently found an article linking alcohol and cancer I realized that I missed out again! The study linked alcohol use to breast, rectal and liver cancer in women.
So being the “good” girl and staying away from alcohol thinking it was the healthier thing to do didn’t keep me from my diagnosis of breast cancer at 31 years old.
I should have been partying it up with the rest of them and enjoying every minute of it! I am beginning to wonder if there is anything out there that doesn’t cause the big C?
Check out the article on MSNBC.
Do studies like this make you reconsider some of your extracurricular activities all in the name of staying healthy?
