Ryan Newman Builds On 2nd Place Qualifying At Bristol With Good Practices

Ryan Newman and his #39 U.S. Army Chevy team seem to be having a good weekend at Bristol so far this weekend.
With the exception of a 21st fasted 2nd practice, Newman qualified 2nd and was 2nd fastest in the 1st and 3rd practices sessions.
This may be giving some Ryan Newman fans some hope. Newman is dangerously close to that all important top 35 cut off and a good day on Sunday would really help him out not to mention boost his and his fans moral.
