Going “green” has definitely been a priority in my family. My Grandmother actually gave me a reusable shopping bag for Christmas (go Grandma!), and it has been great. I haven’t been too pleased with the size of the bag or the fact that it does not fold into a smaller size, but I still use it to cut down on plastic bags.
But now I have a new favorite reusable bag - Goody Green Bags. Not only are these bag a great size (with a front pocket perfect for a bottle of wine), but they come in great patterns and fold into an envelope size that I store in my van.
And the uses? They aren’t just for the grocery store. Use these for mall shopping, farmer’s market shopping, or picking up takeout. I have used mine as a gym bag and to take home dirty clothes from a recent weekend trip.
