This is another game that draws on Chinese history not unlike Capcom’s Dynasty Warriors and Warriors of Fate. Here it is in about 12 recordings.
So what we have here is another beat-em-up with at least 6 players on the roster, where you need to defeat evil members of one of the warring enemy clans featured here. You can tell that Capcom’s past gems had some influence here when you notice how, just like in Warriors of Fate, there’s some rotund enemies who throw explosives, and even Dungeons & Dragons provided inspiration, seeing how, like Shadow Over Mystara, there’s a “toolkit” option providing players with a few different items picked up and stored along the way. The music is even more fast-paced than in Capcom’s games along these lines. Quite an exciting production.
