I suppose even some of these games that are made precisely for home systems are good for writing up a post about, and I’ll certainly try to include them too, whenever I can. So here now is the NES version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which may have come out before the arcade beat-em-up, I’m not sure. In five recordings:
Choose one from the quartet, and go to battle against Shredder and the Foot Clan. There’s even, most amusingly enough, the Turtle-Tank and the Turtle-Blimp! Some of the areas you need to go through are quite hard, what with all those magnets and moving belts and firepits. There even seems to be ways to restore vitality. Not bad for an adventure.
