A few more notable events in Rock & Roll History for October 30th:
1947: Timothy B. Schmit was born. Timothy is the bassist and vocalist for The Eagles, and prior to that he filled those same roles with Poco. Maybe it’s his beautiful voice, but this cat seems like an incredibly mellow fellow.
1972: Elton John became the first rocker since The Beatles to play for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
1995: The greatest day of my life, as our twin daughters Alex & Rachel were born. They were born rockin’ and are absolutely the coolest people I know. In case you’re wondering, we’re taking them to see Steely Dan & Bruce Springsteen on back-to-back nights for their birthday.
