November 6, 1948: Glenn Frey was born.

Frey was one of the co-founders of The Eagles, a country-ish, pop, hit-makin’ juggernaut that turned into a full-fledged Rock & Roll band when they enlisted Joe Walsh prior to the Hotel California album.

In case you weren’t sure, yes I am poking a little fun at the early Eagles work, although I do like quite a bit of it….and  Hotel California is one of my Desert Island Discs.
