This was a study of another Hudson River School master, Jasper Cropsey, who painted back in the 1800’s and who also is a favorite of mine. He had such a gift of creating mood and atmosphere and painted many panaramic scenes such as this one. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed painting it. ~ Connie
