Yep, there really was one produced back in the day. Scotty, beam us up!
The idea here appears to be battle simulation in space, as you might expect. It’s funny how the computerized voice here reminds me of Michael Dorn as Lt. Worf in the Next Generation, even though this preceded the famous followup by 5 years, and was produced at the time the second movie was being released.
