I fear this life is killing me
whatever shall I do
my body throbs in agony
from duties that I rue;
I tried the path of apathy
but never followed through,
was down with negativity
but that just made me blue,
surrendered to conformity
encountered nothing new
so tried responsibility
to realize my due
and now, this life is killing me
whatever shall I do?
